How We Rate
Last updated:
Every GuideSift review uses the same simple method, so scores are easy to compare. This page explains what we look at and what our scores mean.
Where our information comes from
Our reviews are based on publicly available information: the official product page, published course outlines, the creator's background, refund and pricing terms, and other public sources. We do not claim to have bought or personally tested a program unless a review clearly says so.
What we score
Each program gets a score from 0 to 10 on a few factors. Common factors include:
- Content quality: Is the material clear, structured, and complete?
- Ease of use: Can a beginner follow it without special skills or tools?
- Creator credibility: Is the creator's background public and relevant?
- Value for money: Is the price fair for what you get?
- Refund policy: Is there a clear guarantee, and how long is it?
Factors can change slightly between categories. The factors used are always listed in the rating box of each review.
What the overall score means
- 8.5 – 10: Strong option for most people in its target group.
- 7 – 8.4: Good, with some trade-offs worth knowing.
- 5 – 6.9: Mixed. Right for some people, not for others.
- Below 5: We have serious concerns.
What our scores are not
Our scores are not a promise of results. Results vary from person to person. Our reviews are not medical, psychological, or financial advice.
